You don’ t need anyone’ s permission to play.
Just find an empty machine, sit down, and start playing!
All you need is cash to play. One thing to keep in mind: pachinko parlors can get pretty noisy.
If you’ re bothered by the sound, bringing earplugs might be a good idea.

Note: Admission of persons under 18 years old is strictly prohibited.

The entry process may vary by store, but if you enter after 10 AM,
you can come and go freely. There’ s no check-in or reception, so you don’ t need anyone’ s permission to enter. Staff may be busy moving around, but think of them as being there to support players, kind of like how staff assist players in an arcade.

1. Find an Available Machine
Once you've picked the machine you want to play, make sure it's actually available before sitting down.
If there are any balls in the top tray or items like a bottle or cigarettes on the machine,
it means someone is saving it. Sitting at one of these machines can cause trouble, so be careful! Always choose a machine with nothing on it.

2. Insert Cash into the Machine to Get Your Balls Usually, there's a cash slot (called a "sand") on the left side of the pachinko machine where you can insert money. Most places now have machines that accept 4 types of bills (from 1,000 yen to 10,000 yen), but you can't use coins.

Tip:
If you have remaining cash in the machine, press the "refund" button, and it will come out as a prepaid card. Make sure not to forget it when you leave your seat or finish playing!

Press the "ball loan" button once, and you'll get balls worth 500 yen (for 4 yen pachinko) pouring into the tray!

Tip:
If the balance shows "10," it means you have a 1,000 yen balance.
